Self-confidence is key to success and happiness in our daily activities. One of the factors that affect confidence and self-esteem is our physical appeal. Research shows that many individuals have a part of their body that makes them feel insecure. The impact of the effect varies from one person to another; some people do not even air their opinions because they feel like everyone is focused on their imperfections.
Dr. Jennifer Walden, a cosmetic surgeon advices such individuals to undertake the cosmetic surgery and achieve their desired appearance. She explains that many people are hesitant to undergo the process because they do not know what the outcome will be. Dr. Jennifer Walden says that one of her childhood friends, for instance, was a perfect candidate for breast augmentation. When she finally had her breast enlarged, she was so happy that she went encouraging others to embrace cosmetic surgery.
Dr. Jennifer Walden has been in the field for more than eight years. She says that being a woman in the surgical department has its pros and cons. Surgery is a field that is dominated by males and she, therefore, has to spend every day of her career life proving her authenticity to her patients. However, this is something that Dr. Walden does not mind doing.
In the pros list, she says that 95% of cosmetic surgery patients are women. The patients prefer a woman surgeon because they feel being a female they understand the body changes that they experience. This means more patients especially because they are only a few women in the field. Dr. Walden explains that the reason why they are very few women in the career is due to the number of years taken to study cosmetic surgery. Many women are not ready to risk getting hitched and bearing kids at a later age.
Dr. Walden loves her job because through it she is empowering women by ensuring they achieve the body of their dreams which equals to confidence and productivity in their work. Follow Walden
