I believe that it was a proud moment for the leading provider of criminal and civil justice technology for monitoring, public safety, investigations and corrections, Securus Technologies, to announce that 11 of its field specialists had received a certification that was recognized internationally. According to Securus Technologies Senior Vice President, Operations, Mr. Danny de Hoyos, the training that the 11 field specialists received will help Securus provide the best level of reliability and performance to its corrections customers. Danny continued to add that Securus believed a lot in certifications and considered them to add value to even the most highly trained field agents in the organization.
The field agents received the training from BICSI (Building Industry Consulting Service International). This association supports the information and communication technology (ICT) industry. Members of this association, who are credential holders, have the ability to design, install, manage and maintain ICT projects and I believe this was the reason why Securus Technologies opted for this association to train its field agents. Projects that BISCI members can handle involve wireless-based systems and infrastructure, optical fiber and copper based distribution systems, pathways and spaces.
