Goettl Air Conditioning: Back Where They Should Be

What if I told you there was a company in 2012 that was not doing so hot and people were ready to give up on it and someone came in and turned it around in 18 months? You would probably call me crazy and want to know more details. However, that is exactly what Ken Goodrich has done with Goettl Air Conditioning in only 18 months, as they are now making $20 million. To me, that is nothing short of simply incredible. However, when you truly commit to something and leave it all on the line, I’m a firm believer that anything is possible.

Goettl Building off Rock-solid Foundation

I’m also big on second chances. A company like Goettl Air Conditioning was profitable and seen as a good company at one point. Why can’t it be seen that way again? I like second chances and I believe in them. I’m not so big on third chances, however, because if you haven’t learned by then, you might never learn. Ken Goodrich seems to be the kind of guy that likes second chances. He hoped his customers would give the company a second chance, and it wasn’t an easy feat, but he pulled it off. He pulled it off by having a great staff that knew what they were doing.

When you hire a staff of individuals to work for you, you need to know they are going to get the job done and you can trust them. You need to know they are reliable, will show up on time, and have the proper training. He didn’t hire just anyone for his company. They had to be special. He has a special crew of skilled individuals that know exactly what they are doing and are completely committed to customer service. That is how Ken Goodrich operates.

Everyone is happy, full of energy, and they take pride in the job that they do. They don’t do a lazy job and they don’t just rush to get the job over with as soon as possible. They know that a job well done means good word of mouth and a recommendation for the future. You have to be looking out for the future. Ken Goodrich and his staff certainly is.

Securus Technologies Releases A Report On GTL’s Wrongdoings

Securus Technologies has released the first portion of the report that highlights the wrongdoings and integrity breaches made by Global Tel Link (GTL). The report provides the public with a unique opportunity to see what went wrong at GTL and to what extent. According to my research, the reports being released by Securus was prepared by the Louisiana Public Service Commission, which then handed it over to the company earlier this year.
I found out from the first report release that when GTL was offering telecommunication services to correctional facilities in Louisiana, the company set their systems to add either 15 or 36 seconds automatically to call duration. This way, the company overcharged taxpayers by at least $1,243,000.
Speaking during the release of the first section of the report, Richard ‘Rick’ Smith highlighted Securus’ commitment to delivering quality services to correctional facilities, inmates, law enforcement agencies and families. The chief executive officer of Securus Technologies believes that delivering quality services and customer satisfaction should always override the need for players in the industry to make huge profits. I think he is right. When clients are satisfied, the players will enjoy good business.
The decision to release the information in small batches over the next six months is also an attempt by Securus Technologies to shame GTL and force them to focus on ethical business practices. I agree with this decision, as the prolonged discussion of the wrongdoings will help GTL and other companies to avoid similar acts in the future. This information was originally reported on Securus Technologies’s website.
