To me, that is nothing short of simply incredible. However, when you truly commit to something and leave it all on the line, I’m a firm believer that anything is possible.
I’m also big on second chances. A company like Goettl Air Conditioning was profitable and seen as a good company at one point. Why can’t it be seen that way again? I like second chances and I believe in them. I’m not so big on third chances, however, because if you haven’t learned by then, you might never learn. Ken Goodrich seems to be the kind of guy that likes second chances. He hoped his customers would give the company a second chance, and it wasn’t an easy feat, but he pulled it off. He pulled it off by having a great staff that knew what they were doing.
When you hire a staff of individuals to work for you, you need to know they are going to get the job done and you can trust them. You need to know they are reliable, will show up on time, and have the proper training. He didn’t hire just anyone for his company. They had to be special. He has a special crew of skilled individuals that know exactly what they are doing and are completely committed to customer service. That is how Ken Goodrich operates.
Everyone is happy, full of energy, and they take pride in the job that they do. They don’t do a lazy job and they don’t just rush to get the job over with as soon as possible. They know that a job well done means good word of mouth and a recommendation for the future. You have to be looking out for the future. Ken Goodrich and his staff certainly is.
